The leaders and staff of the Ministry of Education held a discussion on the performance report of the first quarter of the Ministry’s 2017 fiscal year.
The Minister of Education, Prof. Birhanu Nega, who was present at the meeting, said that it was necessary to reform and improve the education system in order to create a generation that would lift the country out of poverty and carry the economy.
He pointed out that sacrifices should be made now in order to hand over a better country to the next generation, and for this, he said, support should be given to the national reform measures that are being carried out in various sectors.
The minister mentioned that civilization is a very expensive thing and it costs a lot of money. He pointed out that it is not suitable for this country to live in poverty any longer, so we should strive for change.
In addition, he explained that the economic reforms made as a country are due to the need for a fundamental economic change. He explained that the decisions made in the change works implemented as a country are always based on the difference between today and tomorrow. They said we have to hand it over.
