He also mentioned that the government has paid special attention to educating all Ethiopian children from the age of five, and that over 34,000 pre-primary schools have been built in the past years.
He said that since this country is not a country for some people, but for all Ethiopians, we should ensure equal access to quality education in the education sector without discrimination, so that we can have a stable country.
The regional head of state, Honorable Ato Tilahun Kebede, for his part, stated that the government has achieved great results in the work done in the past five to six years to correct the shortcomings in the education sector.
The head of state said that this school means a lot to this area and thanked the Ministry of Education for doing better today for a better tomorrow.
Dr. Sebastian Bradis, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the People for People Humanitarian Organization, said that many intellectuals have graduated from the schools that People for People has built in the past. He expressed his belief that children who can lead the country tomorrow will graduate from this school and asked that the school be owned and maintained so that it is sustainable.
