(March 05/2017) A consultation forum was held on the implementation document of the third degree education qualification certification prepared in the higher education sector.
The State Minister for Higher Education Development, Ato Kora Tushne, who attended the forum, stated that various reform efforts are being implemented to ensure the quality of education in the higher education sector.
He stated that the curriculum change and exit exam for undergraduate education, as well as the National Entrance Test (NGAT) for second and third degree education, are being implemented.
The State Minister stated that special attention is being paid to ensuring that higher education institutions fulfill their expected missions, and the preparation and implementation of the third degree education qualification certification implementation document submitted for discussion is also part of this.
Dr. Eba Mejenna, the Chief Executive Officer for Academic Affairs at the Ministry of Education, said that the Ministry of Education is making several improvements to fulfill the mandate given in the proclamation. He said that the prepared 3rd degree education qualification implementation document will create a uniform system for officials, trainers and trainees at all levels. He urged all universities to implement the 3rd degree program and curriculum in accordance with the framework.
