The Harari Regional Education Bureau has recognized and awarded students and other stakeholders who achieved high scores in the Grade 12 national examination in the region in the 2017 academic year.

(September 09/2018) The Minister of Education, Professor Berhanu Nega, who attended the program, noted that the 22 percent result recorded in the Grade 12 national examination in Harari Region is encouraging and is a testament to the attention the region has given to the education sector.
The Minister said that as a country, a system is being established in the education sector where only those who work hard and excel in it will achieve results. He said that you should be proud of the results you have achieved today, not through shortcuts, but through hard work and dedication.
The Minister also stated that an agreement has been reached with the regional leadership to conduct the 12th grade national examination in the entire region in a paperless manner in the next academic year of 2018.
Therefore, he stressed that the region should focus on ensuring the quality and equity of education without being distracted by the results obtained so far.
The Minister added that the work started as a country to make this generation a working generation, a generation that is proud of itself, will continue to be strengthened.
The Ministry of Education and senior leaders of the region were present at the recognition and award program.
