(February 12/2017) Minister of Education Professor Berhanu Nega met with the Ambassador of Argentina to Ethiopia Ignacio Roccataglita to discuss issues of cooperation in the education sector.

During the meeting, the Minister of Education highlighted the main issues that the two countries should work on in the field of education.

He told the Ambassador that they would like to work together in particular on language development, exchange of students and teachers in higher education and free education, arts, sports and people-to-people relations.

He also explained that there is a favorable environment for cooperation with universities in this regard.

Argentine Ambassador to Ethiopia Ignacio Roccataglita, for his part, expressed Argentina’s desire to enhance its cooperation with Ethiopia and work together in the education sector.

He added that they are ready to work with higher education institutions on the exchange of students and teachers in higher education and free education opportunities, new innovations, arts, sports, and activities that strengthen people-to-people relations.
