‎‎(February 20/2018) The leaders and staff of the Ministry of Education celebrated the 130th anniversary of the Battle of Adwa with the national theme, “Adwa 130, From a Dark History to a Bright Horizon”.

‎In her message on the occasion, the State Minister of General Education Development, Ms. Ayelech Eshete, said that Adwa is a living symbol of freedom not only for Ethiopians but also for all black peoples, and that our fathers and mothers deserve respect for the sacrifices they made and the victory they achieved.

The State Minister emphasized that education plays a key role in our journey of growth and prosperity, and that we must complete our initial tasks.

In order to take our country to a level where it is convenient for its citizens and a symbol of development, the actors in the education sector are expected to play their part with greater patriotism and feeling, Ms. They raised their voices.
