(December 04/2018 Ministry of Education) The State Minister of General Education Development of the Ministry of Education, Her Excellency Mrs. Ayelech Eshete, held discussions with the Ambassador of Israel to Ethiopia, Dr. Abraham Nigusse.

During the discussion, the two sides expressed their interest in working together on education and training issues that benefit the youth.

Her Excellency Mrs. Ayelech Eshete expressed her interest in working with the Israeli government and institutions, especially on projects that build the capacity of teachers and students.

On his part, the Ambassador of Israel to Ethiopia, Abraham Nigusse (Dr.), highlighted the long-standing friendship between the governments and people of Ethiopia and Israel, and stressed the need to continue and strengthen cooperation between the two countries on various issues in the education and training sector.

During the discussion, it was also mentioned that an Israeli organization called Unistream is interested in collaborating on education and training projects that benefit youth.
