(February 10/2018) The Chief Executive of Academic Affairs in the Higher Education Development Sector, Eba Mijena (PhD), stated that work is being done to enable the Universities of Applied Sciences to produce intermediate professionals related to the industry.
The Chief Executive explained that the fact that the Universities of Applied Sciences are able to produce intermediate professionals with practical knowledge and skills will create a great opportunity for the development of the country.
Dr. Eba, who stated that the reform universities in the education sector have been instructed to focus on their missions and areas of focus, and that various documents, roadmaps and implementation plans have been prepared, said that a curriculum and program framework has been prepared to implement the focus and mission areas so that the universities can work more closely on their areas of focus.
He also indicated that input from stakeholders is being collected and validated on the draft curriculum and program framework.
Dr. Eba added that the program and curriculum framework for research and comprehensive universities has also been prepared with input from stakeholders and is ready for decision.
