The Ministry of Education stated that it is providing education by incorporating ethics in the curriculum to produce ethical citizens, and this will continue to be strengthened.
The State Minister added that since leadership ethics have a great meaning for the generation, the leaders of the education sector should be aware of their great responsibility and fulfill their responsibilities in a superior manner.
In order to create a generation that hates corruption, we must continue to strengthen the work we have started by changing the previous corruption-promoting narratives from school and making our examination system free from cheating, he said.
The Deputy Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission, Honorable Fekadu Seboka, said that if we do not make anti-corruption our daily work, the problem will worsen. The leaders of educational institutions have a great role to play in this, so in order to maintain the quality of education, it is necessary to create a generation that is free from corruption. The Deputy Commissioner said that an education leader who does not have good ethics not only misleads himself but also the direction of the generation.
