Experts from higher education institutions are working to make the food menu of university students more uniform.

The Ministry of Education conducted a study based on the current increase in food prices, and based on the results of the study, the food budget of higher education institutions has been increased to 100 birr per day. It was stated that experts are working to ensure that the food menu of the institutions is uniform in accordance with the budget amendment.

Dr. Solomon Abraha, the Chief Executive Officer of Administration and Infrastructure at the Ministry of Education, stated that the food budget has been adjusted taking into account the current food price increase. Dr. Solomon added that the food menu in universities in our country is being adjusted to be uniform and indicated that the amount will be released to the universities based on the number of students they have according to the new budget rate.
