(February 05/2018) The pre-primary and primary school textbooks published by the Ministry of Education with the support of partners are being unloaded at the Gelan Book Distribution Center.
The Ministry of Education has begun to transport more than 23.9 million books from Djibouti to the country with the support of partners to deliver primary school textbooks one by one, said the Acting Executive Director of Curriculum Development, Ms. Zafu Abraha.
The executive director stated that more than 30 containers of books have arrived at the Gelan Distribution Center. She said that the executive director will now work to distribute the books to the regions, stressing that they are responsible for ensuring that they are properly distributed to students.
He also explained that when the books are printed, they include a QR code showing the zones in all regional and city administrations, so that books from all zones can be tracked by their code.
