July 03/2016 / The Minister of Education Prof. Birhanu Nega attended Addis Ababa University and Abrihot Library and launched the 12th grade social science national exam. 

The Honorable Minister indicated that the paper and online exam (hybrid exam) is being implemented this year. He said that in the future, when it is possible to test students completely online, it will not only save the test from plagiarism and cheating, but also contribute to the quality of education.

He also said that it will reduce the costs of administration, control, printing, transportation, security and the like. Finally, the Honorable Minister urged all sections of the society to protect themselves from false information as fake information is circulating on social media to spoil the atmosphere of the exam and advised students to take their exams calmly.
