The Ministry of Education of EFDR came second and was awarded a trophy in the assessment of the performance of the Ethiopian People’s Ombudsman.

The Minister of Education of EFDR, Honorable Professor Birhanu Nega, in his message while receiving the trophy, said that although we still have some work to do, the recognition given to us will inspire us to make our future work more transparent and confidence-inspiring.

The Chief Ombudsman of the Ethiopian People’s Ombudsman, Dr. Endale Haile, who presented the trophy to the Honorable Minister of EFDR Ministry of Education, Prof. Birhanu Nega, in a message delivered by the Ministry of Education, explained that institutions that have achieved the highest level of evaluation have received awards from other institutions.  The evaluation of good governance performance conducted on 15 offices included 86 criteria and focused mainly on efficiency, accountability, transparency, fairness and legal compliance.
