Higher education institutions were requested to complete and continue the implementation of agreements made with partner institutions abroad; a joint entry agreement document was signed to enable cooperation between the Ministry of Education’s Higher Education Development Department and Korea University, with which Inha University has been affiliated.

(On Nehasie 16/2017 E.C.) It was also indicated that the cooperation agreement signing ceremony included programs in Aviation Science, Aerospace Engineering, and Smart City Education.
The university signed the entry document for cooperation with Jimma University to complete Aviation Science and Aerospace Engineering education programs in our country. Professor Hicheng Koh represented Inha University, and Mr. Efrem Wakjira represented Jimma University in signing the agreement.
The university also signed the entry document for cooperation with Addis Ababa Science and Technology University to complete the Smart City education program in our country. Dr. Kemal Ibrahim, the university’s academic vice president, represented Addis Ababa Science and Technology University.
The key issues addressed in the entry documents focus mainly on capacity building training, research, and exchange of students and faculty among the cooperating centers.
The process was led by the Minister of Education’s Higher Education Development Department, Honorable Mr. Kora Tushune, who emphasized that the cooperating centers will significantly contribute to producing skilled professionals in our country through the three education programs and that the institutions must work diligently to bring about changes based on the agreement.
Honorable Minister Deataw Aklewum also expressed confidence that the three institutions, by representing their respective organizations, will properly fulfill their shared responsibilities and commitments.
