(February 24/2017) The South West Zone Schools Sports League Competition hosted by Jimma City has concluded.
When the schools competition under Jimma Zone concluded, Seka Secondary School won the boys’ football championship by defeating Nada Secondary School 5-1, while Kersu Secondary School won the boys’ volleyball championship by defeating Sgemo Secondary School 3-1.
In girls’ volleyball, Doyo Secondary School won the girls’ volleyball championship by defeating Ale Secondary School 3-0.
Mana Woreda Schools, which won many medals in athletics, emerged as the overall winners.
It was stated that the competition ended up being a competitive platform where social and economic benefits were highlighted and students with excellent sportsmanship in all sports were seen.
