‎(January 15/2018) Dire Dawa City Administration Education Bureau Head Ato Sultan Ali stated that they are working hard to maintain the quality of education according to the new curriculum.

He also indicated that attention has been paid to capacity building work to ensure that teachers have sufficient knowledge and skills about the subjects they teach according to the curriculum.

Ato Sultan also explained that activities have been carried out to properly meet the needs of schools, especially those that can be met by themselves.
He also said that the city administration has also carried out additional teacher accommodation, classrooms, laboratories, and libraries under the Education for Generations program.

The head of the office also indicated that work has been done to improve school grounds to make schools attractive, beautiful and attractive, and to make them places where students and teachers come back with nostalgia.

Ato Sultan also announced that parents are working in collaboration with schools to eliminate problems related to ethics and the quality of education that are threatening the administration.

He noted that the administration has achieved better results in the past two years, and stated that all stakeholders are working hard to achieve even better results this year.
