At the same time, the Minister of Education, in his message, said that we have established special boarding schools to produce qualified, competitive and strong leaders for the country in the future and have conducted an education inauguration program today by accepting students from all over the country.
The Minister said that a country that had a great civilization and should have become a great country has become a country that begs for what it eats.
He explained that in the past years of change, we have been working to produce strong, competitive and competent children in the education system, thinking about how we can change our country from small to big.
He said that the development of the country can be ensured only when quality education is provided to all citizens in a fair manner, so all citizens in both rural and urban areas are being provided with good educational opportunities.
Therefore, we want the students who have the opportunity to study at this school to be not only educated and knowledgeable, but also morally upright, free from laziness, and helpful to others.
The minister said that students should be children with special talents, saying that since you come from all over Ethiopia, you are expected to respect each other, respect each other’s culture, and help each other. He also urged them to think of themselves as a country and study hard together.
The Head of the Oromia Regional Education Bureau, Tola Beriso (PhD), said that what makes this special boarding school different from others is that it is not just a place but rather a place where qualified students from all over Ethiopia are selected and educated.
Therefore, he conveyed his message that students should study hard to take over this country tomorrow and that teachers should also fulfill their responsibility to empower the students who will take over the country tomorrow.
The principal of the special boarding school also expressed his happiness at hosting the first 9th grade students from all over the country and holding the commencement program today, promising to fulfill the responsibility given to them together with the teachers to make them human.
