(November 02/2018) The State Minister of Higher Education, Honorable Ato Kora Tushune, stated at the 34th Education Conference that all parties must fulfill their obligations for the success of the planned reform activities in the higher education development sector.
He noted that cooperation between industries and educational institutions is a beneficial activity for both parties.
He also stated that universities should focus on teaching and learning and community service work, and said that there is a plan to establish an institution that will take responsibility for the nutrition of university students.
The Minister of State added that the focus of universities is gradually being achieved, and pointed out that there is a direction to redeploy teachers to address the shortage and shortage of teachers that arise in this process. The Honorable Minister of State also explained that a separate legal framework is being prepared to support private higher education institutions.
