(October 04/2018) The Chief Executive Officer of Academic Affairs, Eba Mijena (Dr.), stated that the 2018 Postgraduate Entrance Examination has been concluded on time and in accordance with the schedule.
The Postgraduate Entrance Examination, which was to be given at the end of 2017, was postponed due to various reasons and was given on October 3, 2018, at 53 examination centers, Dr. Eba stated.
The Chief Executive noted that 29,491 applicants who were interested in studying in public and private higher education institutions registered and about 96 percent took the examination.
Dr. Eba explained that this year’s exam was conducted with better discipline than usual due to the appointment of sufficient supervisors, examiners and ICT experts at all exam centers and the proper arrangements to avoid internet and power outages, and indicated that the results of the exam will be announced to students soon.
He added that the Graduate Admission Test (NGAT) is different from other national exams and is a standardized assessment that assesses the level of readiness of applicants who wish to continue their 2nd and 3rd degree studies.
