(On August 24, 2017 E.C.) Knowledge was given about the contribution of Ethiopian teachers in successfully implementing the 2017 Education Sector Development Plan in the General Education Development Sector.

At the closing of the national forum on the General Education Development Sector held for two days in Hawassa city, the Ethiopian Teachers Association expressed appreciation for the contribution of teachers in the implementation process of the 2017 Education Sector Development Plan.

In learning and teaching, education for the generation, school discipline, as well as participation in the overall activities of the education sector, not only teachers but also students, parents, and the community have made contributions for which the Ministry expressed gratitude. A call was made for all stakeholders in the sector to play their roles effectively to achieve better results in the coming year.

The Minister of the General Education Development Sector, Mrs. State Minister Kibret Ayele, in her message delivered at this time, stated that the correctness of our work in the education sector and the responsibility we must take as the next generation will be a challenge.

She also emphasized that all educational matters are involved in creating a prosperous and developed country and that the responsible body should work appropriately as required.
