(July 16/2017 / A.D.) Minister of Education, Prof. Berhanu Nega, received and spoke with the Ambassador of Algeria to Ethiopia, Dr. Mohamed Khalid, at his office.
During his meeting with the Ambassador, the Minister stated that Africans should further strengthen their cooperation in the changing world order and expressed their readiness to work with Algeria in the field of education.
In a related statement, the Honorable Minister expressed his interest in strengthening the existing cooperation in education and training between Ethiopia and Algeria, as well as conducting joint research focused on common issues of the countries, exchanging teachers and students, facilitating free education opportunities, and working together on the training of technical and vocational education trainers.
Algerian Ambassador to Ethiopia Dr. Mohamed Khalid, for his part, stated that Ethiopia and Algeria have strong cooperation on regional and international issues and that this multifaceted cooperation should be expanded and enhanced.
The ambassador added that the Algerian government is interested in signing an agreement and working together based on the cooperation interest presented to it by Ethiopia.
