(June 03/2017) The Chief Executive Officer of Academic Affairs of the Higher Education Sector, Eba Mijena (Dr.), stated that since June 2/ 2017, an examination protocol has been prepared for the exit exam being given in all universities and has been made known to examinees and examinees.
Dr. Eba also explained that the examination protocol document has prepared a document detailing the prohibited items in the exit exam, what discipline each examinee must maintain, how they should act, and how they will be held accountable if they are found guilty.
The Academic Executive Director pointed out that it is important to maintain the quality and security of the exam, so great precautions have been taken by each institution and that examiners from other higher education institutions have been assigned to examine students.
He also said that to ensure the safety of the exam rooms, the security of the exam rooms is being checked and verified before the candidates enter the exam centers, and a task force led by the university presidents has been established and will be closely monitored.
On the other hand, during the remedial exam given from May 25 to May 30/2017, the candidates who brought prohibited items were dismissed from the exam in order to maintain the security of the exam, Dr. Eba said.
The official added that 76,790 students have sat for the remedial exam, while 190,787 students are taking the university entrance exam, which has been taking place since June 2, 2017.
