It is also stated that it will facilitate the conditions for graduates to gain better skills and employment opportunities by increasing university-industry cooperation.
In his speech at the signing ceremony, the State Minister for Higher Education Development at the Ministry of Education, Ato Kora Tushune, explained that the MoU signed will identify and support the digital and soft skills gaps of university students and graduates.
The Minister of State added that the MoU signed will help to support higher education institutions’ linkages and collaborations with the industry in a special way.
ICDL Africa CEO Solonjie Imuulisah, for his part, stated that his organization is an organization that works to equip Africans with the right digital skills and expressed his willingness to support and work together within its capacity.
Kipler’s Director in Ethiopia, for his part, stated that the MoU signed aims to support and train university students and graduates to become competent and competitive citizens.
