The campaign to return to school will begin tomorrow.
The Ministry of Education has held an online discussion with senior government officials on the return of out-of-school students.
The discussion was attended by the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Women and Children, the Ministry of Agriculture, senior prosperity leaders and regional bureaus.
Nine months after the Corona virus was re-introduced, schools did not report as well as expected.
Education Minister Getahun Mukaraba (PhD) said the “Let’s go back to school” movement will start on Friday and all sector offices will participate in the movement.
He said the movement will last for five consecutive days and the aim of the movement is to get the remaining students back to school.
He said the movement will work from house to house to ensure that the remaining students return to school from Monday.
Students who did not enroll will be required to return to school by December 23.
He called on all students to return to school as part of the movement.
