The Ministry of Education has officially launched the Education Light Assessment Initiative.
The program was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Demeke Mekonnen, members of the House of Representatives and the House of Federation and other senior federal, city and state leaders, religious leaders and invited guests.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Demeke Mekonnen, said the assessment system will encourage citizens who have acquired knowledge through informal means to enable other citizens to attend school and gain formal education.
He said the evaluation of the light of education will increase the level of education of the country and we must fulfill our mission of creating a trained workforce by doing human-oriented work. He said the movement is sustainable and will enable all citizens who can read and write to be successful in their profession. Deputy Prime Minister Demeke Mekonnen has officially launched the program, calling on the people to take advantage of this opportunity.Education Assessment is an assessment system that recognizes citizens who can read, write, and calculate. The Minister of Education, Getahun Mukaraba (PhD), said the education light assessment is part of the transformation of the education sector. He said religious institutions have been doing a great job of providing education through informal means, thus creating citizens who can read, write and calculate.
