Leaders and employees of the Ministry of Education discussed the problems and solutions of the service delivery of institutions.
At the same time, the State Minister of Higher Education Development of the Ministry of Education, Kora Tushune, said that in order to continue the development of the country, it is necessary to solve the problems in service delivery by establishing transparency and accountability.
He said that corruption causes serious damage to the development of the country by disrupting service delivery and spoiling the image, so it should be prevented by providing efficient, effective and acceptable services.
The State Minister also said that customer satisfaction should be increased by notifying the customer in advance of the service requirements and time frame and by providing service according to the specified requirements and time frame.
The Head of the Minister’s Office, Mr. Getachew Tefera, said that in order to prevent corruption, we should provide appropriate services and update our service delivery system.
He said that by modernizing the operating system, it is necessary to enable customers to get services wherever they are, to produce competent and quality manpower, to ensure accountability and the rule of law.
At the discussion forum, the Executive Representative of Education Monitoring, Mr. Dejene Desu, presented a research document on the causes, vulnerabilities and prevention of corruption and discussed it.
